Cassockman at the Tate

On Saturday 13 November 2004, Bill and Chaz managed a visit to Tate Britain to take a look at the Augustus and Gwen John exhibition and pop into the Turner Prize show.  At the end of the latter exhibition an opportunity was given for any visitor to leave a comment hanging on the wall.

Cassockman gave his characteristically brief reaction to the exhibits.  (The original was of course left hanging; this is a copy.)

Chaz wishes it to be known that the Tate will not be given any more free works for the time being, though any commissions would be welcomed.

For the record, we thought that Jeremy Deller was the best of the 2004 Turner nominees -
