The Story of Cassockman
"Cassockman" first came to life after Charles and Bill Young viewed the video version of "The Matrix", a very popular film about a future in which humans battle against the influence of the computer program which has taken over the world. The consciousness of suitably equipped humans can enter the program and do battle with the controlling "agents" who police it.
A leading actor in the film for some reason chooses to fight, in oriental martial art style, while wearing a long black garment uncannily like the clerical cassock regularly worn by Bill while leading worship. This observation was all the catalyst that was needed to spark off a flight of imagination by Charles who, egged on by Bill, soon produced prototype drawings of a new cartoon character:

This "slimline fighting-machine" image never stood a chance. Before long, Cassockman had devolved into a rather more lovable, rather less threatening character altogether. He will never be a super-hero. But he tries.
